The Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt theme for this week is COLORFUL and I can't think of anything more colorful than rainbows.
This is a picture of part of Mom's favorite uncle's rainbow collection (Ooooo ... That just reminded me of that Kermit the Frog song from the "Muppet Movie" called "The Rainbow Connection"! I like that song a whole lot!). He's got a furry cool little house on stilts that is surrounded by tall, leafy trees ('cept some of 'em fell down during the winter when Seattle had all of those storms).
He calls his itty bitty house "The Tree House" and he has an amazing collection of colorful decorations. Mom makes it a habit to send him stuff that she finds that have the colors of the rainbow because he loves, loves, LOVES them.
Mom took this picture when she last visited. Her visit took place last August when she went up to Seattle to participate in her cousin's 90th birthday celebration.
Mom was captivated by the view out one of her uncle's huge windows. The morning sunlight was AMAZING and the green leafy trees were nothing like what we have down here in southernmost San Diego.
Oh, don't spoil the surprise ...
Mom found some neat rainbow-colored stuff to add to his collection. Mom's favorite uncle's gonna get even more colorful!
