Pumpkin seems stronger and is still eating enthusiastically. Thank you for your continued purrs and purrayers.
UPDATE: I am encouraged by Pumpkin's eating last evening and his enthusiasm for pets. He's showing greater energy (and I'm sure that it's because of everyone's positive thoughts, purrayers, and purrs). I've decided to play-it-by-ear and let him decide when he's ready.

We are sad to say that Feline American Pumpkin has taken a turn for the worse an' will have to be helped to the Bridge early this week.
"Heartbroken" doesn't begin to describe how we're feelin' ...
OH NO PUMPKIN! I'm very sad and leaky to know that my Valentine is heading to the Bridge. I will certainly miss you, along with your fambly.
