A Furry Pile of Black(ish) Cats are Team Lounging!

Tillie, Tiger, Treasure, Georgia, and J.J. have configured themselves in the shape of the five Cat-O-Lympic rings for their Team Lounge!  Check them out an' be amazed at both their athletic prowess an' the coordination of their team uniform:  Tortie, Stripes an' cool black combine for a classic (an' classy) look that telegraphs just how athletically this group has performed in its Team Lounging effort!

How will they stack up next to the other teams in this cutthroat competition?  Only time will tell.

One thing I do know is that the Team Lounging competition has now CLOSED!  Which group of athletes will be the gold-, silver-, and bronze-medallists?  Stay tuned to find out!

Just in time; Team Lounging with China Cat Sunflower an' Miss Willow!

China Cat an' Willow have been Valentines of Feline Americans an' our close furriends for YEARS!  So it's only fitting that these lovely ladies are the last of the athletes in the Team Lounging competition!

As you can see, these athletes are utilizing a laundry basket of clothes fresh from the dryer as their unjique lounge platform!

How was this stunning effort achieved?  Well, China Cat Sunflower ... in the glorious orinch uniform ... spied the unguarded basket of clothes an' snuggled her way in to snooze for awhile (at least 'til the clothes lost their 'warm') an' Miss Willow, not to be denied a soft, warm lounging spot, piled on top of her teammate!  You can recognize Miss Willow by her fetching tri-color team uniform!

Purrsonally, I have not seen a better use of laundry in all of my nine lives!  This lounge effort is a crowning achievement for two intrepid athletes.

Mona and Weenie are Team Lounging with their cousins!

This is our most populated Team Lounging entry yet!  Wow!  Eight live competitors (we cannot include the leopard spotted 'member' beneath the woofies although it kinda looks like a kitty's furs).  Mona an' Weenie have gathered their cousins an' momma, too, for their Team Lounging entry an' they're posed on a beige lounging platform to best display their Dachshund uniforms!  You can find them at their bloggie Mona & Weenie.

It isn't efurryday that one is able to convince one's cousins an' momma to rigorously train for such a competitive Olympic event as Team Lounging, but when one is able ... an' does it as well as these intrepid woofies (an' momma) ... well, it's just poetry in lounging!

Mona was careful to state that she is in the wire-hair uniform while her brofur, Weenie, is being gripped on the snout by momma.  The other five athletes in the photo are Dachshunds owned by Auntie Judy who are taking time from their other athletic contests to participate as part of Mona and Weenie's Team Lounging contingent.
