We are comforted to know that so many members of our community loved Fudgie, too, and join us in somber rememberance of our beloved friend.
You have been so thoughtful, and your caring expressions of sympathy and condolence are helping us to mend the holes in our lives.
Fudge Ripple had been with us for a furry long time (he was nearly eighteen years old). As our numbers soared or dwindled, he was the constant in the Feline Americans. He welcomed all newcomers and accompanied us on our journeys. Soft purrs of reassurance ... Gentle wisdom ... A faithful companion to light the way ...
It will take time to adjust to life without his presence, but we can be assured that Fudgie will be waiting to welcome us when our turn comes to cross The Bridge ...

Getting used to Fudgie not being there is going to be the hardest part. Just remember that he will always be there in your hearts and minds. I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts with warm affection.

DaisyMae and the Feline Americans, yes, we all do care about you and your family. As Daisy said, Fudgie touched our heart. He reminded us of our sister Precious. He was very deserving of the Feline of the Quarter Award, and we're glad that we got to know him.
