Mom is furry happy about a couple of things ...
First, her principal got reassigned on Monday night. His last day at her school is this Friday. When school resumes for the fourth quarter in mid-April, there will be a whole new dude in charge. Mom was singing, "Ding! Dong! The witch is dead" when she came home from picketing her district office on Monday night.
An' second, her vacation starts at a little before 1 o'clock on Friday afternoon. We have her all to ourselves for FOUR whole weeks. We cannot wait 'cuz she's been gettin' up before it's even light an' drivin' off in the mornings before the sun is even up. Dark is for sleepin'!
Oh, an' Uncle James is gettin' married in about two an' a half weeks. Ugh.

We hope the new dude will be a good one. Sounds like you'll be seeing a lot of your mom for a month. Show her a good time so she'll stay home more and leave less.
