Our furriend, Morgen, made this lovely graphic of Feline American Sparky Fuzzypants for us to remember him by. We wanna say "thank you" to our Uncle Mo. DMM and Charmee ... and Jessica, too
And then there were just two ... DaisyMae Maus and the Feline Americans lost Sparky Fuzzypants today as he had to be helped to the Bridge this morning. He left our house in pain and complained pitifully the whole way to the v-e-t. It was simply his time and he had wasted to just beautiful stripes and bones. We will miss his gentle ways, his enthusiasm, and the way his smelled ... like clean cotton and vanilla. Mister Pants was born to one of the beautiful strays that frequented Mom's outside food dish back in 1998. The neighbor's boy ... now a father himself ... brought a little ball of hiss and sass to Mom on July 3. He wasn't really a hissy little scratch monster, but he had a brave front. He weighed just eight ounces and was so malnourished that his hind legs didn't work quite right yet. Mom and Grandma nursed him to health and helped him to become the bouncy, active, fun-loving ManCat that we knew and loved. Fly high, sweet boy. We'll miss you. See you at the Bridge. Love, DMM, Charmee, and Jessica
