Huckleberry Finn
This is my first "hunt" as a new Photo Hunter in the weekly Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt! The theme for this week is "Memory," so I've chosen a photograph of my fondest memory: My brother, Huckleberry Finn. He's been at the Rainbow Bridge for about two-and-a-half years and I miss him every single day.
He and I survived our kittenhood with the horrible children up the street, sunburned ears, eatin' cheap dog food, and bein' infested with fleas. That all changed when we were abandoned together and Mom adopted us.
When Mom took us in, we "officially" earned our names (she'd been calling us these names since we were tiny, but our "birth" names were "Frisky" and "Fuzzball." Mom named us from a line in the movie "Tombstone" where Val Kilmer (as Doc Holliday) declares: "I'll be your huckleberry if you'll be my daisy."
