The San Diego Zoo ... uh, wait a minute ... The World Famous San Diego Zoo is celebrating "Bear Awareness Week" this week with a weekend of SPECIAL HAPPENINGS! What kind of "special happenings," you might ask? SNOW! On Saturday, there will be a snowstorm in the brown bear habitat and then on Sunday, the polar bears get their own blizzard! What is so special about snow? Well, in our corner of the U.S., the temperature this weekend is supposed to be 91 degrees ... I guess with temps that high, the bears will feel like it's snowin' in hell ... maybe.
