Friday's Feast #22
Appetizer
Name something you think is “the best.”
After reading about it on the internet, I bought ten 2-liter bottles of Coca Cola Classic during Passover 2007. The soda that I bought was the "Kosher for Passover" type made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. This is the flavor that I remember from my teen years (prior to 1985). It is THE BEST ... if you haven't had Coca Cola in this formula you don't know what you're missing.
Soup
On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 highest), how stressed are you today?
Nine. Today was the meeting with our union about the climate of our school and the actions/inaction of our principal. I had to do damage control with Jostens because our representative didn't send all of my club members' caps and gowns (and they need them for the senior awards this coming Tuesday). And I'm trying to write final exams/tabulate grades. This weekend couldn't have come at a better time. Oh, and half of my problem children from yesterday's post were in school today ready to fail their vocabulary tests.
Salad
What kind of cleanser do you use to wash your face?
Luxiva from Merle Norman. I've been using it since I was fifteen and my skin looks pretty darn good for nearly forty.
Main Course
Tonight is a blue moon! What is something that you believe only happens “once in a blue moon.”
My getting a good night's sleep.
Dessert
When was the last time it rained where you live?
It's sprinkled a couple of times in the past two weeks, but it hasn't REALLY RAINED in more than a year. San Diego is known for its perpetually sunny weather. As the song says, "It never rains in Southern California ...". Supposedly "it pours" ... Bah!
