Skeeter and LC tagged me for a new meme called:
My First 5 Days In My New FOREVER Home...
1st day: Old family left in moving van, so Mom claimed me. I got grabbed from the porch swing, brought into the house, tortured in the bathroom (I GOT A BATH!), and then left to my own devices to explore around and meet the others in "purrson" ... I was lucky that my brother, Huckleberry Finn, was brought in with me. We slept in Mom's room with the door shut while the "others" prowled around outside the bedroom door makin' hissy sounds.
2nd day: Hid behind the sofa. Pooped behind the sofa (In my defense, I had been an outside cat and had used a planter box for my commode). Got sick of poop smell as Nature's Miracle doesn't work so hot.
3rd day: Crept in and out of Mom's bedroom adjusting to not being able to run away from strange new cats.
4th day: Thumped biggest cat (Cocoa Puff) and oldest cat (Percy) to re-establish household pecking order. Learned to use litterbox (much to Mom's delight). Became a force to be reckoned with.
5th day: Camped out in the middle of the sofa like I owned the place being sure to rub my muzzle all over Mom effectively claiming her for my own. Got ticked off each time she washed her hands. Had sore whiskers from so much claimin' ...

ps a friend who does a lot of cat rescue is going to teach me how to do the hydration thing for suzanne. i have to be out of town for three days next week, and want her to be as healthy as possible.
