What's the deal with this black bear? Aren't there sufficient nuts, berries, or small woodland creatures in the forest for him to eat? Couldn't he eat a vishus deer or somethin'? Why is he botherin' the bird feeder? Is he practicin' his act so that he can be a performer in Miss Daisy's circus?
Gosh, an' the beans thought that they had a problem with a few squirrels in the bird feeders?!?

Wow, we haven't had that kind of visitor at our birdie feeders. I hope we never do!
Those are amazing photos. Reminds me that in Vermont in March there are TV ads all the time to remind us to remove bird feeders by April 1 because the waking-up bears will come eat from them. Now there are bears here but not at my house yet. So I am thinking I will put a feeder up and get me a photo of a bear like all my friends and neighbors! Whatcha think??
My Lady saw a bear at the zoo the other weekend. I have never seen one in person, I hope I never do. They are very scary.
Oh my gosh that is so funny!!

You know, I've seen squirrels do that but never bears!
These are such funny pictures - really cute Bear - he must be very hungry!
Hmm, that bear is no good at the highwire act. Because he is supposed to walk on top of the tightrope. And if he is not careful, he might break the equipment, too!
Wow-that's a determined bear!
LOVE the photos!
Thanks for your help with the 2 kitties in San Diego who need homes. My pet human passed on that info to thier pet humans.
thanks again!
WOW! We are amazed that somethin that BIG could hang by a little rope. We sure dont want anything like that in OUR yard. An weve never seen a critter like that ever.
Um, The Big Thing says that if you sprinkle red pepper flakes or spray some hot sauce on the seeds, that big old thing won't come back for "seconds". It doesn't bother the birdies any. ;)
