This is the baby Squillion that Mom painted for our new cousin, Lucy-Furr. She's in a box surrounded by bubble wrap awaitin' a trip to the post office. Benjamin-Fuzz an' Lucy-Furr should meet the new Squillion by Friday! Whoo hoo! DMM
Wow, we didn't realize that your Mom painted the squillions by herself! We were just lookin at the ones you sent us and now we 'preciate them ALL THE MORE!
We jus didn't know! That is SO creative of her! We thought she hunted them up somewhere.
Maybe The Big Thing had a clue, cause he keeps the ones of US on toppa the sparkly-box where he can see them alla time.
That is sooooo cute! Yur Mom is furry talented! Mom is curious where she gets the kitties, what kinda paint she uses, an then how she finishes them. Geesh, Mom's nosey.
Skeeter an' LC ... The ones that she sent to you guys were already painted pretty accurately, so Mom didn't add additional touches. As they say, "You were created an' they broke the mold!"
Victor ... Mom 'dopted the squillions from the Green Walls Animal Shelter in April. She paints 'em with craft paint colors that she buys at Michael's Arts and Crafts for 79¢ a container. They have shades to match any kitty. Oh, an' she uses this weird liquid paint called "matte sealer," but sometimes uses Krylon shiny spray (one of her students sold it to her at the Michael's store where he works ... He told her that he didn't wanna see her taggin' on buildings and fences. Mom told him that he wouldn't find any 'cuz she uses CLEAR).
