Back to the grind ...

It's Monday ... an' it should be "ManCat Monday" here on our bloggie, 'cept Mom is back to her day-hunting an' started a new semester today.

She just got home 'bout twenty minutes ago ... an' she looked pretty tired.

Her principal got to be the big hero today:  He came down to Mom's room to tell her that her HORRIBLE ninth grade boy from last term had been re-assigned.  Yay!

So what kept Mom so long at school?  Counselors misplaced some students ... so Mom needed to do the paperwork to get them re-assigned.  After all, why would an advanced placement ninth grader need a Reading support class?!?  And why would a student who tested at (or above) grade level three weeks ago still be placed in Reading support?  Amazing ...

Oh, an' Mom had to test a freshman varsity starter to make sure that he was properly placed (he wasn't).

Anyway, the classes SEEM okay, but Mom's a little frazzled.  I'm gonna snuggle a bit an' maybe turn in early.  Purr, purr ...

Oh, BTW:  It did rain quite a bit the past couple of days (even TODAY), but we're NOT flooded in the slightest.  We are JUST FINE.

Happy new year!
My female human perfectly understands your mom. She is happy that she can stay at home for a year because of the baby. She had a terrible 8th class the last year and is happy not to see them again. *smile*

It's so hard getting back in the groove of things after having some time away from the "W" world.
Sigh...

I'm sorry your Mom had a tough day her first day back at work. I hope it's getting better for her now.
