Thursday is our second blogoversary.
Today was Mom's first work day of the 2008-09 school year. She just got home a little while ago an' said that the district "rah-rah" meeting was brutal.
The black masheen was acting up, so Mom took it in for adjustments an' stuff to the tune of $2,200. Interestingly, that was nearly the same amount of a raise that she got for surviving to eighteen years as a teacher.
Monday, July 14, is the first day of school.

Teachers should get paid a million billion dollars. That might screw up the economy, but it would solve a lot of other problems! Maybe Chey should make that part of her platform...
Wow! That seems early to get back to school...
I think I will make it a priority to pay teachers more and actors less... And basketball players. After all-- teachers are the BEST role models and do the most important work.
Good idea Pablo!
Happy blogoversary, lets hope there are many more.
