It's poignant to note that "bridge" is this week's Photo Hunt theme as my dear, sweet Jake has gone to the Bridge. I join his fambly in mourning his passing.
Jake has been my Valentine for the past two years an' I looked forward to celebrating with him next weekend with plenty of smooches. Unfortunately, that simply wasn't in the stars for us. I'll miss him terribly. Please visit Bathsheba (an' Nancy) to express your condolences. The blogosphere is sadder for Jake's passing, but we are better for having known him.
The bridge in the photo is Multnomah Falls in Oregon. I feel as cloudy and leaky as the waterfall and sky in the picture.

This is terrible news DMM! Even though I did not know this Mr. Jake well, I can see he was quite the kitty. My Kitty Kondolences to you and is family. I will vent my rage and sorrow upon my humans' flesh. I Think I see an exposed ankle...For JAKE!!!!!
