Today's Photo Hunter's theme is WALKING!
You've seen us trussed up in harnesses and leads when Mom valiantly tries to get us WALKING ... Mostly we fall over an' end up being dragged down the hallway like glorified "Swiffers." We're not much for walkin' for exercise ... But Mom is, so we're showing a photo of her (accompanied by her furriend Debbie wearing fev-vers on her head). This was taken nearly eighteen months ago when Mom was bein' Princess Thanksgiving in a 5K to raise money for Father Joe Carroll's St. Vincent de Paul charities. Mom an' thousands of other well-meaning folks got up furry, furry early on Thanksgiving morning to walk around the beautiful (and mostly flat) course at Balboa Park.
Mom an' Debbie ... dressed like giant doofusses ... got photographed for the St. Vincent de Paul newspaper. Serves 'em right for dressin' up like that!
Oh, BTW: Less than THREE weeks 'til our Auntie Toni flies down from Seattle to go to GradNite with Mom an' the senior class of 2009. Mom bought the first class round-trip ticket yesterday ... $733.00! Yowza!
