Mom's six-week "summer vacation" is over on Monday an' she has to start a new school year. We'd hoped that this year would be a little easier 'cuz she'd done all of the class prepping the last school year and could use this one to fine-tune the lessons. Nope. It's gonna be much, much harder an' more time-consuming 'cuz instead of just teaching sophomore English, she's now teaching AP English Language and Composition, English 11, English 12, and a CAHSEE class to twelfth graders who failed the CAHSEE multiple times. She hasn't taught English 12 since 1991. The last English 11 class she taught was in the fall of 1994. She's NEVER taught AP English before ... EVER! The only class she's taught recently is the CAHSEE class. It has four students in it, but it will seem like FORTY.
Perhaps now is the time to buy a Lotto ticket?

I love your cat. Beautiful. I agree after reading this post that a lottery ticket may get you out of this, I keep wishing for that lottery win also.
What a disappointment for you. Your mom will be going back to work soon. But we're sure she'll still make time to cuddle with you.
