Well ... that was an exercise in futility!
Until I set the brush and banana on the carpet and Charmee decided to lay on them (!) and get his nice brushing after all! He's purring contentedly and flicking his tail ever so slightly ... so I win, right?!?

Mom Paula is slowly getting Truffle and Brulee used to grooming. Both of us get mats on our tummies and Mom Paula has to be very patient with us. It usually takes several attempts before she can get us combed through.
We love the statement of liking the furs where they already are.
Angel will let me use the furmanator for a few seconds at a time!

The only one of us here who's really a fan of brushing is Rascal, whose furs are so short they're always in place. Max likes it too, but there used to be this human living with us for a few years who brushed Max's furs in all different directions. He said he used to do that with his woofies. Poor Max kept getting matted like crazy. Since that human left and took his ridiculous brushing techniques with him, Max has been mat-free! (Don't tell your mom, but we think if you got her to give you special foods, laser fun & a nippy nana, then you're the winner)
Charmee, the humans really have to give you so many treats and stuff to get some grooming in. It looks like your mom is up to one point now to zero. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
