After much manipulating, I managed to get my blog fixed with little to no help from Mom (who is computer-useless). I found my original blog template and cut/pasted much of my additional sidebar content into the right places. Lunch Bellyup, my goldfish, is back swimming. My Zoom Cloud is fixed. The 9/11 tribute icon, Gorgeous Gingers animated .gif, and the House Panthers icon are back! I'm feeling MUCH better about Blogger Beta right now. Go ahead and try it out. It might work just fine for you like it did for me (after MUCHO tinkering with the html). If you've got any computer savvy, you should be able to upgrade pretty easily.
Can I get a "whoo hoo"?

whoo-hoo!!!! and MEYOWRRRRRR! concatulations on the reclaiming of your blog!

No problem, Pierce Kitties! I can talk you through an upgrade to Blogger Beta if your mama decides to change over. After all of the trials and tribulations I went through (and Mom's UNhelpful swearing), I am pretty good at the ins and outs. It'll probably be easier if you're on a PC ... Mom's machine is a Macintosh.

Hi DaisyMae. Jasmine has been thinking about upgrading either her blog or mine, but is a bit wary after many people and poodins have had troubles with it.
Also, she was reading the blogger website and it sounds like not everyone can upgrade yet, only selected blogs. Is this true? Did you get a special message in your blogger dashboard which said you could upgrade? We haven't seen this message so maybe we can't upgrade yet anyone?
Interested in your thoughts on the subject!
No ... I didn't get a special message on my blog offering the ability to upgrade ... I just made a decision and went for it. After a little initial frustration, things started going much, much better. Mom helped a little bit, but most is ALL ME!
Let me know if you need help ... The nice thing is that it saves what you currently have in content (postings, profiles) and then puts your "classic" template in the Edit HTML section to refer to as you reassemble your blog.

Hi DaisyMae. Jasmine was reading this article about beta blogger and she thought this meant that she couldn't upgrade our blogs until Blogger offered an upgrade? She's a bit confuzzed now. Can you tell me how to start the upgrade process so I can show her? Thanks.
I remember just goin' to my dashboard and finding a beta blogger icon to click on. Try that and see what happens. If not, you might not be able to do it yet.

Oh, you have to open a Google account, too. It's just your email address and a password that will allow you to transfer over.
Jasmine already has a Google account, so she was going to 'xperiment the upgrade with her blog furst, but there's no 'beta blogger' icon so I think this means we has got to wait.
Thanks fur your help Miss DaisyMae! :)
