Mom was out shopping at the new Petco down by IPayOne Center where she came across a flavor of stinky goodness that she was SURE we'd love: sardines and tuna in aspic. We do love our sardines and tuna, but we only get them when grand-dad is around and watchin' us, and Mom is gonna be out of the house for the whole day. She can't stand the sight or smell of fishy stuff.
So, lovin' us like she does and knowing that Pro Plan is a good brand of pet food, mom bought us two cans 'cuz they're only 3 ounces like a Fancy Feast.
Fudgie's tummy was grumbling, so Mom opened the cans (and nearly heaved into the sink!) ... It sure lived up to the "stinky" part. But ...
Yuck! We sure didn't like it. We're not THAT finicky, but Pro Plan sardines and tuna in aspic was wasted on us. We'll pass ...

Aspic is NASTY. It should be BANNED in Stinky Goodness! My people learned a few years ago that if a stinky goodness had aspic in it, I wasn't gona eat it, no matter how hungry I was. And since I LIVE for Stinky Godness, that says alot!
Nothing worse than being hungry and having some trash emptied into your food dish! You have my sincere sympathy.
I'm wif effuryone else it wuz da aspic. Or az mom calls it asspick. Ugh, dats nasty stuff.
i hope your mom immediately remedied the situation by washing your dish and then replacing its contents with something more appropriate.
aspic is icky...and in older days was made of icky things.
