Unless you're a pedigreed stud or queen, you should really think about gettin' yourself to your trusted V-E-T for spaying or neutering. It doesn't hurt very much (you get some cool stitches if you're a girlie!) and it's much less expensive than raising houseful after houseful of unplanned kittens (or puppies).
Don't get me wrong ... I like cute kittens and puppies as much as the next feline, but when there aren't enough forever homes to go around, having unplanned (and ultimately unwanted) babies is just mean.
Please convince your person to spring for surgeries for your females and hoo-hah-ectomies for your males. Altering eliminates some cancers, nips territorial spraying in the bud, and increases the longevity of your feline or canine companions. Altered cats and dogs are much healthier and happier.
