Friday's Feast #14

Appetizer
When you travel, which mode of transportation do you prefer?
I used to drive everywhere because I enjoy my car and am an especially good driver, but since taking my airline flight to Seattle last August, I'd have to say that I prefer the flight (but only if it's first class).

Soup
Have you ever met a blogging friend in person?
My aunt has a blog that she posts to semi-regularly (Under the Bed: Suzanne and Ben2) and my brother has a blog (Shadow Saluki), so the answer to this question has to be "yes".
DaisyMae teleports to her bloggin' friends' houses ALL THE TIME for parties (and smooches).

Salad
When was the last time you were really, really tired?
About eight years ago, I supervised GradNite at Disneyland (I've done so many times, but this time was really tiring). I got up at 6 AM and taught all day (it was the last day of school), I supervised graduation rehearsal and then I reported for GradNite duty at 5:45 PM and supervised that trip through to 8:30 AM when the bus arrived back at school. I went to my classroom and cleaned for a couple of hours. Went home to take a short nap and then reported for graduation duty at 4 PM. My school obligations ended at 7 PM. I try not to make myself that tired these days, but often times, it's an occupational hazard.

Main Course
If you could have dinner with any one fictional character from a book or movie, who would it be?
Since the parameters of the question specify "book or movie," I'd have to say Stephanie Plum would be my choice. We'd have dinner at her parents' house in the 'Burg and Grandma Mazer would do something screwy and dangerous. Morelli would be there and maybe so would Ranger. Stephanie's sister Valerie and her husband Albert would be there with their three kids. Mrs. Plum would serve pot roast and German chocolate cake.

Dessert
Fill in the blank: One day, I hope to see the grandmother I was named after. She died only four months before I was born. My parents (especially my father) speak of her often. I kind of feel ripped off that I never got the chance to meet her. I'd also like to see all of my pets who've gone to the Rainbow Bridge in my lifetime.
