Friday's Feast #25

FRIDAY'S FEAST!

Appetizer
Name a funny habit you have.
I don't know if it's "funny," but I have to pull on the door handle once I've locked a door (especially my classroom door) to make sure that it's locked tight. No, I don't have OCD.

Soup
If you could instantly know how to play a musical instrument, which one would you pick?
Cello would be my first choice. That instrument gives me chills, and I love how it sounds full and rich.

My second choice would be the pedal steel guitar. When I was a kid, I used to watch a variety show called "Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters" (but I wouldn't admit to it) ... Barbara Mandrell always looked so amazing playing the guitar on her lap wearing strange metal picks on her fingers. Also, it sounds cool.

But as an attention-getter at my job, playing the drums would be the most handy instrument. Yeah, I'd wanna be a drummer.

Salad
How long is your hair?
It needs to be cut, but it hangs just below my jawline. I can force it into a ponytail if I really want to, but the ponytail is really, really little. And my hair needs to be colored again ...

Main Course
When was the last time you forgave someone, and who was it?
I really don't remember ... Probably because I find it so infinitely hard to forgive people. I tend to carry things around with me ...

I've tried to follow "forgive and forget," but that turned into "forgive and remember" ... Now I just "remember."

Dessert
What is your favorite kitchen appliance?
My favorite kitchen appliance is a professional grade freezer. It's huge and it makes a satisfying "smmuuuuccckkk" sound when it closes/seals. I keep all kinds of foods in there from frozen chicken to cheesecakes (my student club sells slices for fundraising) to pretzels.

Oh, but I got this chopping device called "the Vidalia Chopper" and I use it to make veggies into little squares ... That's really handy and it's been used a bunch in the sixty days that I've owned it.

But the best is the Vita Mix 3000 blender. It PULVERIZES ice cubes in nanoseconds. I can make my own Slurpees® in about fifteen seconds. Since I LOVE Slurpees®, I use it a lot. Yep, the Vita Mix 3000 is my favorite kitchen appliance.

Nice to know more information about you. You are very interesting. My mom watched Barbara Mandrell and she loved the steel guitar, too.

I remember Barbara Mandrell and the Mandress Sisters too. Thank God because I was beginning to think that I was old.
