The Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt theme for this week is HAIR!
I'm takin' some liberties with this week's theme. Bein' cats, we've got a lock (pun intended) on all kinds of hair, 'cept we call it "fur" or "whiskers" depending on where the hair is on a feline body.
As you can see from the four photos below, Feline American Sparky Fuzzypants loves to have his fur brushed. These are action shots of Mr. Spark gettin' a full-body brushing. He loves the brush SO MUCH that Mom can hold the brush near him and he'll walk back and forth brushin' himself!
The next shot is of Feline American Cocoa Puff. I'm including this shot 'cuz it shows what's different and a little odd about his whiskers: The ones on the right side of his muzzle are white and the ones on the left side are black. Do any of you have whiskers like that?
Finally, I'm showin' two embarrassin' Mom photos.
The first is of ALL THE PRODUCTS that Mom has in her bathroom for takin' care of her hair. All the products make Mom look like she's high maintenance, but she's really not.
The second photo is of the hair color that Mom buys. She uses a different color in the spring/summer than she does in fall/winter. In the fall/winter, she uses a shade called "Sweet Latte" ... Since it's spring, she's usin' a lighter shade called "Honey Dip" ... I've told her that it doesn't really matter what color she paints her hair. It's gonna fade pretty quickly anyway. She tells me that her gray hair isn't striking like her Aunt Toni's, so she's colorin' it for the time being. Whatever!

and you should see how striking it is these days! the swaths of silver are getting bigger all the time. (i just heard her hint that some of the grey might be because of me...you don't think that's true, do you?)

Oh, I can tell Sparky Fuzzypants loves his brushing! I like to be brushed, but I get all crazy and start biting the brush.
My Mommie says that Honey Dip hair color is a pretty color!
Wow. I wouldn't let Mom do that to me. Glad to see your Gizzy quilt is still looking really nice.
I have never seen a kitty that didn't look wonderful in a photo! *S*
Your long-haired kitty looks so much like a Norweigan Forest cat.
Beautiful!!
Drop by and see my photo from the musical Hair!
Happy weekend

Perfect for our theme this week.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Stop by and see mine.
I love being brushed too... although I only let my tummy fur get brushed for a little while before I tell the feeders to stop. I looove having my back brushed though!
Ernest doesn't like being brushed very much and will run away from the Feeders when they try.
We don't like brushies, Meowmy tries but we runs away! Our Meowmy's got lotsa stuffs for her hair too, da buddy says the bafroom looks like "paw-mart"..no, that's not right, somewhere Meowmy says is "the evil empire"..oooh, WAL-MART. Wuzzat Meowmy?
Oh and we has funky whiskies too, Little B has two toned whiskies, half of the whiskie's white and da ofur half is black! Her Majesty has 4 white whiskies, the rest is all black, and Mister E has ONE white whiskie, the rests black on him too!

I would shred DKM some new facial features if she did that to me!
Great collection of hair photos. :) Sparky Fuzzypants had lovely, fluffy fur and it is clear to see that he enjoys being brushed. :)
Funny photos. Sometimes I like to be brushed. But mostly I walk around while beeing brushed and try to bite the brush if I can see it.
Sparky Fuzzypants sure looks happy being brushed. Our big sister Precious the Maine coon cat used to like to be brushed too--good thing, since she needed it.
Did we detect a blogging cats t-shirt on your mom?
