Don't be worried about the doors ...

Thanks to all who were concerned about our safety due to misunderstanding about our security doors. Our doors are WONDERFUL. We have a set of wrought iron doors on the outside of our regular doors. They have little holes that we can't climb on, but let in the breeze. Our doors are called Sears wrought iron security doors and they're dead-bolted when Mom's at work. Since they're on the outside, she can leave the house doors open, but the security doors locked. We can see outside, but no one can get in. If anyone tried, I think that I could bite 'em pretty good. I couldn't claw them very well though because everytime I get my claws good and sharp using my Alpine Scratcher, my mom clips my claws (and the Feline Americans' claws, too ... It's only fair!) down to little nubs.

The a/c has been on all day today, so no security doors were needed. We stayed nice and cool. Mom "crock-potted" some chicken, so we'll be feasting (Hint, hint!!!).

Stay cool, kitties (and visiting doggies, too)!

Wow! I didn't know that bunnies visited the blogs, too! Hi, Orlando Bun! I used to have a best buddy named Pierre when I was an outside cat. Pierre used to break out of his hutch and hop up the street to visit with me in Mom's front yard. She had some fancy clover planted in the front that Pierre found irresistable (actually, he found ME irresistable, but claimed that he was only after the free eats).

Anyway, it's good to hear from such a good looking bunny guy! Mmmrrrooowww!

Please share with my mama your mama's crockpot recipies. Maybe she will finally use that crockpot.

Glad to hear you guys are all safe, even with the door open.

You're lucky to get chicken. Our Mom hardly ever cooks in the summer...just puts stuff on the grill.

The doors sounds like something I could use here. Maybe when I get my own house, with stairs, I can get some doors like that. Cool.

A crock a chicken? Well, we guess any chicken will do acoz we love chicken. Our a/c goes on and off. Today big boomers came and then Mom turned the air cooler thingy off again. Now we can look outside for the stranger kitty. Hope he doesn't pee on the door again.

Momma only uses her cracked pot for Boston baked beans! She forgets to use it, she claims.
