Saturday Photo Hunt #47: SMALL!

SMALL!

The
Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt theme for this week is SMALL!

This group of three photos ... furry old ones from nearly seven years ago ... are from when Feline American Pumpkin was small. Wasn't he a cutie?

Mom says that someone had left him in her planterbox on the front porch during Easter week of 2001.

She kept hearing "mewing" from the porch, but couldn't see any kitten anywhere.

Mom finally started searching individual plants an' found a tiny ginger boy huddled beneath an azalea.

He only weighed eight ounces at the time, but has grown into a seventeen pound gentleman cat with plush fur, brown eyes, an' freckles on his nose.

Once he was very small ... an' now he isn't!

It was a blessing for your brother to be left at such a wonderful place. And he's such a robust specimen of cat, which is a testament to your mom's excellent care-and my mom thinks he's handsome, but not as handsome as me, I'm sure.

Pumpkin sure was a tiny little baby. Too small for his food dish even! What a cutie. Thank goodness you rescued him.

Thank you for my Christmouse card with the coupons! You got that in the mail very quickly. Who did my drawing as the Santa Kitty on the card? I thought the artist captured my likeness very nicely. There was a slight error on my eye color, but that's ok, I don't mind.

Mom is quick an' a master multi-tasker. She runs mail-merge with her printer an' keeps all of the addresses on file for on-a-moment's-notice card-sending.

I'm furry glad that the coupons are welcome. Mom orders them from eBay in mass quantities an' shares the wealth when she can.

Happy Christmouse!
