Minako celebrated a big birthday last week with a tandem jump out of an airplane! Can you believe it?
In San Diego ... not far from where Mom lives and works ... there is an airstrip called Brown Field where ordinary folks can learn to fly airplanes and gliders, and take lessons that allow them to jump out of planes.
Mom only started flying in 737s as a first class passenger two years ago ... so it's gonna take awhile for her to work up the guts that Minako has. But until then, Minako is our HERO! Way to go!!!

mommy says there are closed and locked doors and seatbelts on an airplane for a reason.

Oh, we think we'll skip the freefall jump from higher than the fridge. A dog, or even a cat, could get hurt jumping out of a plane.
I think I'll stay with my four paws firmly on the ground, thanks.

Our mom is planning to go up in a hot air balloon next week and she is kinda scared.
